What is your philosophy of change?

Our client-focused therapy model is based on wellness and taking a whole-person perspective (body, mind, emotions, culture, community, lifestyle, relationships). We focus on empowerment, developing one’s potential, lifestyle wellness, and values-driven living.

Our behaviorally-oriented, collaborative, and time-limited treatment model focuses on the unique needs and goals of the client, and is designed to improve overall functioning and increase the person's strengths and natural support systems. Therapy is viewed as a collaborative effort based on the person’s values, culture and life goals.

What is your forensic services about?

We specifically focus on individuals suffering with unremitting health problems, chronic pain, functional overlay, delayed recovery syndrome, or those demonstrating abnormal illness behavior.

Our interdisciplinary service delivery model is based on best practices in health psychology, forensic psychology, and behavioral medicine.

Our assessment, treatment, and prevention services evaluate the interactions of physical, social, environmental, cognitive, behavioral, and biological factors that affect recovery or interfere with a person's quality of life.

We integrate behavioral science methods with biomedical science knowledge and techniques relevant to health, physical illness, and lifestyle choices -- where underlying cognitive, behavioral, and volitional factors are contributing to maladaptive functioning, increased health risks, suboptimal recovery, or reduced quality of life.
