Psychological Assessment/IME

healthWORKZ psychological assessment process is designed to gather biopsychosocial data that help explain a patient’s delayed recovery, stalled progress, or declines in previous levels of functioning. Our comprehensive assessment includes:

• Robust diagnostic assessment with comprehensive differential diagnostic and prognostic feedback
• Psychological roadblocks to the patient’s medical recovery (e.g., personality characteristics, psychopathology)
• Feedback to medical providers to strengthen the physician-patient relationship
• Psychological factors contributing to maladaptive patient responses to medical treatment & general health

• Assessment of diminished mental functioning and return to work capacity from a psychological & adaptive perspective
• Assessment of the patient’s beliefs, attitude, motivations, emotional stability, and willingness/capacity to benefit from psychological treatment
