healthWORKZ provides a comprehensive array of psychological assessment and treatment services to individuals struggling with complex physical, occupational, emotional and relational health issues in clinical and forensic settings.

We are dedicated to the understanding and application of behavioral science knowledge and techniques in diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, health promotion, and disease prevention relevant to psychological, emotional, relational, and socio-cultural factors that influence physical health and illness.

We focus on the integration of behavioral science methods with biomedical science knowledge and techniques relevant to health, physical illness, and lifestyle choices where underlying cognitive, behavioral, and volitional factors contribute to maladaptive functioning, increased health risks, suboptimal recovery, or reduced quality of life.

Our interdisciplinary service delivery model is based on best practices in health psychology, forensic psychology, and behavioral medicine and focuses on:

Forensic Services

healthWORKZ provides forensic health psychology assessment and treatment services in three main areas:

1. Workers Compensation or personal injury cases where individuals are displaying chronic pain, functional overlay, delayed recovery syndrome, and/or demonstrating abnormal illness behavior

2. Cases where individuals are suffering with unremitting health problems with mild-to-moderate mental impairment as a result of, or aggravated by, work-related and/or other personal injury events

Dr. Robert Coleman is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in behavioral medicine and health psychology. Dr. Coleman approaches therapy from a wellness and whole-person perspective and has specialized training in:
